Content...1 topic? 2, 3? all?

Hi everyone, I need some advise...Lets say I have a general theme, and I was wondering if its best to design 1 website combining 3 or 4 of the topics (which are related) or make 3 or 4 specifc website?

Which method would work best with adsense? I guess its logical that if you have 4 website you have more ads than if you have 1 site. BUT having all the subjects at one site, would probably mean a better traffic inflow and more clicks?

Well, I am not the expert, I await for your comments and suggestions.

    Thanks!
    Mike

This is not logical. You place ads on PAGES. If you have 8 pages on each of the 4 sites or 32 pages on the 1 site, your potential for placing ads is the same.

Hi, yes you are right, I didnt phrase the question correctly.

But is it "better" or more strategic to say have 4 topics in 1 site, that way since they are related, if some arrives with interest in 1 of the topics, he could get hooked with one of the other 3 since they are there on the same 1 site. Just ideas I am having, maybe users dont work this way and it makes no diff. to use 1 or 4 website.....anyways, i am all ears.

    Cheers

It depends upon how related those topics are, and also somewhat on what your domain name is. If you have a domain name that is the same as one of the topics, you may want to separate them out. If you have a general domain then all on one may not be all that bad. How many pages do you have in mind per topic?

Thanks for the advice, I think I might do the same. Since I am new to this, it might get too complicated to have several sites!

if you checked-thru my main site, you will see that even though it has several topics, all topics have a particular 'slant' - sort of a multi-topic niche.. I think this has had something to do with my success..

good idea but maybe if you can separate your topic for 2-3 for each site. You can build the website network that way help to increase your traffic.
