    I believe I've got all the new changes figured out, the're pretty straight forward. It is nice when I receive a friendship request and a new contact but...I have not been able to figure out how to send one. It's probably really simple but somehow I've missed it.
    Can you please tell me how to go about it should I decide that I ought to send one out?....thanks.

    It's not a friend or contact, it's a follower. You can click on a user's icon and choose to follow them from the popup or you can do it when viewing their full profile.
