Hey guys, I'm not faced with this situation often so I'm not sure if this would be legal. To start off, I spent a week with a client perfecting a website for him which he was 100% satisfied with. But shortly after that, the emails cut off. No more sign of him through email, MSN, ect. The website is done and I was paid 50% of the cost up front but not the other 50%. The client is not using my work on his website either and its like it was before I started working on it. Well, can I use the contact information from him domain, example the whois.net phone number, and try to reach him that way? Any advice is helpful, Thanks,
You are certainly free to use the whois phone number to make contact - but as you know, it seems like the client is intent on not paying you.
