Contacting Google for Click Fraud

What is the best method for contacting google about click fraud?

We have recently started logging information from incoming Adwords traffic and have found a lot of fraudulent clicks from repeat visitors. Should I email it to them or try to huff and puff to a support rep over the phone?

I have read several posts on here from people who have sent google logs that get a generic "we will look into it and tell you we see nothing in 2 days, but thanks for the check!" responses from google customer support. I want to at least get refunded for the obvious fraudulent clicks.

I'd start with a phone call.

And btw, "have found a lot of fraudulent clicks from repeat visitors" won't fly with G. A repeat visitor is not automatically a fraudelent click. People use Google for comparison shopping - not at all unusual to have the same person click your ad multiple times in a short period of time.

    Good luck!

    Thanks for the advise!

I hope google will work with me since I have had the same visitor come to the same landing page 5-6 times a day (with multiple clicks each time) for 4 days

Put it in writing and document any phone calls you have - that is business 101.

Make sure you can provide accurate written documentation of your claims as well. Be polite, firm and professional.

As stated above, a repeat visitor may not be click fraud but what you describe sounds suspicious.

    Good luck.

It's getting harder and harder to get any kind of refunds as Google continues to improve their fraud detection. I imagine soon they will hardly ever issue refunds or credits. Good luck though :)

Email them if you suspect click fraud. they will be more than happy to help you. I have emailed them before for suspicious clicks. they didnt find anything but they did look into it.

Google does the best they can in terms of click fraud. I have seen much worse from other ppc programs in terms of click fraud. google actually does refund invalid clicks and you can see that reflected in your billing summary. they need to locate the invalid clicks themselves to give you a refund. they arent going to take the word of the advertiser. if they did, they would be out of business from advertisers who have nothing better to do other than conduct unethical business because they do not know how to conduct business the correct way.
