I have a domain that would suit an enduser who has purchased a certain domain recently from another reseller. I will be contacting this enduser to see if they are interested in my domain as well.

I was wondering how you have gone about contacting endusers to buy your domains. Do you have an email template you could share for the initial email contact with them? What has worked for you?

Try to make it more personal than email, which I think has a lower success rate on high value domains, in these kind of instances, I would recommend snail mail registered post / airmail instead, using the very highest quality stationary (recycled), that you can afford and write a brief, short, punchy, to the point, sales letter, upon why you feel the domain would be especially beneficial to them.

By all means afterwards follow this up via email and telephone calls.

There was a good thread on Namepros with some samples. I used it, but I always failed to sell my domains.

If you do contact endusers by email, always put the name in the title with the extension, that it is for sale and include your full telephone number including country and area code if applicable, along with your full name if there is space to do so.

This usually tells the intended reader that your message or unsolicited mail, is not spam.

I find usually that this generates a better chance of receiving a response.
