    Hi guys,

If there are a few websites like Blogs or Video sharing pages that I want to do a link exchange with, but there is no contact details or contact form on the page.

Should I still try to contact the webmaster and if so, how can I find his email address or what way can I contact him.

    thank you

I have had this problem. what i do is go to the contact us page if they have one and if the email is not displayed you can look in the sorce code for it.... sometimes that works... alternativly use the contact form lol... or phone them up im sure they wont mind.

    first of all
missing contact info may mean he does NOT want to receive such requests or spam as link farming requests often come in masses saying such lies like
    "I jave been visiting/studying your site ..."
in my experience most such link exchange requests come from ppl having turly ZERO knwledge about the site content they ask for link exchange. I never received a single link exchange request from sometone who had TRUE knowledge about my site.
in addition most such requests come from new sites with near or zero traffic and low or 0 PR.
    hence
a site owner having NO contact - may be you should respect his intention of being left in peace ??!
if someone WANTS to be contacted - he WILL publish his contact info

    2.
a default address being part of every serious site is
    webmaster@
    or
    info@

    3.
    as a last solution - a request/query in
    whois
will give you site owner info

If the blog has a comments option, leave a comment.
