Hey everyone. I have a pretty good name that gets alright traffic. I was checking some of the other extensions and noticed a company in Europe has bought the .eu, .biz, and .mobi. I am considering contacting them since I own the .info but was curious what the best way to approach them would be. They are a web hosting/web technology company. Any thoughts on a good sample email?

Before making any offer, just check whether the name is a registered and trade mark or not. If it is then, forget this attempt. If not, then get it registered trade marked on your name and then contact them.

    Good luck.

Who owns the .com and .net of the URL. They might be thinking the same thing.
As far as i have learned domains are free game. unless you somekind of unique copyright or registered trademark like network solutions would have

The name is a dictionary word..very popular in different ways..the .com is owned by a "tripod" company..like tripods for your camera..etc. The .biz, .eu, .mobi are owned by a web hosting company..The name is also the name of some band that was together back in the 70's..it's a very common word, i doubt all 3 companies could have a copyright on it (the name btw is slik.info)
