I have noticed that many webmasters do not like to tell others about their adsense sites mostly because they think the sites might have some kind of violation or might offend google! Also, I have seen webmasters who think of asking others what they think about their implementations instead of contacting google. I want to say: don't be afraid to contact google. I had two sites stuffed with adsense in a way that one of my friends wondered "Isn't this against the TOS?" So, I contacted google: "Please take a look at www.example.com and let me know if this is OK with google." A day and half later, I got their reply with a brief analysis of my adsense implementation and that it is OK with google! I took the chance and replied with more questions about other sites and I received their reply in a short time. One of the replies was "So, we are afraid this is against gogle TOS." And all I did was that I changed the layout and re implemented adsense! I got no account termination or site suspension or anything. Again, don't be afraid to contact google. Your issue is with them. Why take your time guessing and wondering? Just head to them and you will know if you are all right or if you should change the lanes! I believe some of you have already had similar experiences. And it is time to share this.
Yep, I have contacted google a few times with slightly borderline implementation and have always got straight forward helpful answers. Nothing to worry about if it is against TOS, they just ask you to change it (which is probably what you suspected anyway contacting google!!) Notting
I just signed up with AdSense this week. Got approved, added ads, and then just to be sure asked two questions. 1. Were they okay? 2. Can I add ads to my image only gallaries that have only limited words on the page? Within 2 days they answered that the original placement was okay. She also said I could add ads to the image pages with no worries, but I might not get relevant ads. I added those new ads this morning and am getting relevant ads. I would certainly advise directly asking google over any concerns. There is a ton of great information and participants on DP, but you get what you pay for with free advice.
My preferance is to contact adsense team because so good to answer and solve the problem but they always read emails in hurry
I should have thought of that before I got my blog disabled. Funnily enough after I got that account disabled and corresponded with them I realised they are actually quite helpful.
It is a good way. It will be better if you ask them about your possible errors before they find and ban you
Exactly! And I am glad this turned to be useful. Not everyone contacted google. And newbies, specially, feel sensitive about contacting google because of what they see on forums (Google banned me, banned!, BANNED!, etc.).
yes.. i contacted them too about the images next to the ads.. just to make sure and get approval. They were very pleased that I contacted them, and responded within 2 hours! Very helpful google team!
