    I think tough times are ahead for the United States and the rest of the world. The major shift in wealth is going to push many into poverty and crime will spike. I worry for my children and their futures. :(

    Inflation on the wholesale level has been running at 9.2% but companies have absorbed the costs due to their inability to pass along the increases. Unlike the 1970's, it's also been difficult for employees to get wage increases.
