I am happy to tell that there are still some companies who really to value their customer's comments. On many product packages you will see in fine print that "we value your opinions and please call 1-800-xxx-xxxx". Well, I did just that, twice, and got very pleasant responses. One company I told them the product tasted very good but the packaging was poor design because it was very difficult to open. What did I get in return? Several free coupons for discounts on future purchases. The second well-known company I called to report the product just didn't work at all and expressed my disappointment. Within 2 business days I received a check for $6.49 -- the cost of the product. Again, a very satisfactory response. Moral: If you think you got a bad product call that toll-free number and complain rather than just toss it into the trash.
