Constructive criticism/review for T-shirt Website

I've been working really hard finding ways to generate traffic to my website, and have been pretty successful doing so. However, the visitor:customer ratio is not so great, unfortunately.

So, I was looking for the advice of the DP community on improving aspects of my site to convert these visitors -> customers. I've been working on this site so long now, I think I just need someone on the outside to give me some unbiased ideas/criticisms on the site itself and also our products. Feel free to be extra tough because I genuinely want to succeed.

    Thanks for your feedback!

    all the best,
    Dave

i am a bit fazed , that you are not selling much .
I think your site is quite good actually ... with the design , logo , variety .

What i can suggest though is bring the Add to Cart / Buy button higher up .... maybe near the Bookmarking icon .

Also , you have a GoDaddy SSL cert if i am not wrong , showcase it more , let the people know that their credit card transaction is really going to be secure . many buyers actually search for that .

thanks for the response websys. I know I'm a bit fazed too actually.... I figure maybe it's one little silly thing that could make a huge difference that I'm missing.

    1. You may be right about the add to cart button. It's essentially "below the fold" of the page, so maybe people need to see it more in their face. I'll try and find some way to bring it higher and highlight it more perhaps.

    2. I do have a godaddy SSL. I will try and highlight that more too. great idea!

Please, are there any other suggestions out there from other great minds of the DP crew? :)

Looking forward to hearing them! Thanks

    looks fantastic,

go for a viral strat to pull in some more targeted traffic,

maybe make small thumbnails of your tshirt designs and allow a myspace decoration page for people to copy the html code to pimp their profile pages etc etc - you never know could go viral too, if the content is there already it just might help

Gringo: first, thanks for the "fantastic"! I've put a lot of hours into this, so it's great to hear good things :)

Interesting idea about putting the HTML code on a dedicated page. what incentive do people have for putting links to designs on their myspace, though? confused....unless I set up some type of reward system where the person that gets the most hits to my site gets a free t-shirt or something. I could just track it through my stat logs. What other incentive would they have to put it on their myspace---or is "pimping" their profiles reason enough you think?

you dont need to track it from your hosting logs , thats way old dated ... use Google Analytics .. its free and allows you to create Goals to track your leads / links and conversions . :)

when I said stat logs I meant Google Analytics. I also use Statcounter which I think does an even better job at certain things than Analytics.

analytics has excellent integration with my shopping cart...it's pretty cool actually...gotta give it up to Google for that their free software business model
