Hello, I am hoping to get some ideas on how I can make my website more user friendly and see what works well and what could do with a tweak. I currently have a very good conversion rate but want to see what I could do to increase this further. Any suggestions good and bad will be helpful. Thank you very much! My Web Design Site
Nice. I've seen that template . It's nice and user-friendly enough, but it just doesn't flow well for me (not your fault). It looks snazzy and the top links are user-friendly, but I feel lost as I go pass the fold. It just trails off. Also, I don't like is the smallish text. I like it a little bigger. That's just me, though. In fact, this is all my opinion. For what the site is for, I think it serves your purposes just fine and I'm glad it's working for you. To add more encouragement, I know web designers/developers who have made lots of money with sites that were horrible compared to yours. I've found that many small business customers just don't care about how bad a site looks. Yours looks good and so should your sales
I like it, but the previous poster is right, the font is a little small for your service line, i feel that the most important thing is to highlight your portfolio which you have done in a pretty flashy way. good luck in sales!!!
Another "web designer" that does not know how to code properly with XHTML 1.0 Transitional DOCTYPE. W3C Validator says: 1 Error, 1 warning(s) And this error is really pretty easy to solve. When using DOCTYPE XHTML there is no & allowed... must be &
Thanks for pointing that out, I was editing it at like 2am and missed it. 'Tiredness kills', well kills xHTML lol Not sure I appriciate the term web designer being but into quotations however lol
Yes, how about putting the portfolio slideshow on the homepage and having the sites pop-up when clicked on.
