Considering Selling Forum - $12,000 / avg Month

Im considering selling a well established forum of 4 years

the forum has made no less than $2,000+ a month (probbaly more than that) and has made as high as $15,000+ on busy periods.

the forum is in a niche genre where its very up and down as to whats happening, when its down it can be like that for a few months but when its up you make enough in those months to even it up (and trust me you know when its busy)

The forum has great potential for someone who can take it to the next level there are so much more revenue streams to utilise.

The forum is also run by a great team meaning you would not have to do any of the day to day running of the forum if you didnt want to, they have been there since day one and are not going anywhere.

Im not going to disclose the URL in public neither am i going to disclose proof of revenue in public as the people that look at those in a forum are not the ones that have the money im asking for this forum.

I will disclose them in private but only after I feel that you have the funds available to by the site.

I will NOT respond to PM's saying provide me more info or pm me url thanks.

These are useless questions and again someone with the amount of money I have this site up for sale for would ask more professional questions.

Im NOT willing to accept lower than $100,000 for this site so If you dont have that type of funds available then please do note waste my time.

(I have not calculated in Google Adsense to the above figure I forgot so I will update these shortly but as a rough rule add $800 to each month)

The website generates income via Google Adsense + Paid Subscriptions.

I will only buy if you can provide me real screenshots. No one will buy it if you don't provide screenshots...haha..

It's going to be hard to sell something without proof, URL, etc.

 

If you really want to sell your forum, you should give us more information here on this thread, no pms or anything else. And provide proof too.

 

As said I have the proof but im not about to show it to every tom, dick or harry members in the financial position would do the leg work to find everything out, members not in the financial position say things like:

we need screenshots..

also the members that have contacted me have used there brains.. if you look closer there is a link to the site mentioned its just not in the post.

At the end of the day, genuine post numbers is a lot more verfiable than membership numbers

General discussion has 800 threads ~ in it (not much at all as forums go)

My car forum has 8,000 threads in the general forum and I would not value it at anything like that (and its PR5 and 6 Years old)

The forum post traffic makes the revenue dubious IME

Also, the Vbulletin fake members module is easy to setup so buyers should not rely on the 'logged in members stats'...

Hmm, this is the second FTA site I've seen for sale this week.

While it could be a good niche money earner, the problem is the subscriptions are probably for access to illegal files - keys, firmware, etc - which could see the owner prosecuted.

A pretty dangerous business model to invest in.

In that regard, I'd be interested in discussing a price based on advertising revenue alone - there's no way I would pay to invest in a business model dependent on supplying illegal information.

 

I saw some 7-8 replies asking for screenshots if you are not willing to buy then why you are spoiling his thread if anyone will be interested they will ask for screenshots to the buyer why you start discussion between yourself

I think people are increasing there post count :d
