Considering Sale : BustArcade

    Site Name: BustAracde
    (URL) : www.bustarcade.com

Age of Site: Less than one month
    Stats:: www.bustarcade.com/stats
Revenue: Don't know - no seperate channel in AdSense
    PR: 0
    Predicted PR: 5

    Details:

Well.. I'm selling BustArcade because I really don't have much time to do much with it. Someone submitted my site to StumbleUpon - don't know who... This brought in huge traffic. Less than a month old, and pretty much NO promotion has been done, except ONE bulletin sent to 2000 people, and ONE signature link here in DP (my sig). Many visitors are recieved through MySpace, because every time a user adds a game to his profile, a link to BustArcade appears below it.

In less than one month, the site has recieved near 2000 visitors. This is with near no promotion. Revenue is unknown =[ - no seperate channel, but I would imagine around at least $2-3 per day. This site running on GMOA has huge potential...

The site, as you can see, have been crawled by many search engines, and ranks high for some specific flash games..

    Auction Start Price : $100.00
    Bid Increments : $10.00
    BIN : $700.00

I think $20 wasn't low ball at all, well atleast not low enough to have you calling someone "retarded".

You haven't even set up a channel to prove the earnings coming from your site, so I have no idea how you can say something like:

I can definitely tell you that many people here don't buy into assumptions.

I'll throw in a bid of $30 anyways.

Oh, and your stats link doesn't work.

Can you show proof there is a legit license for this?

Hard to justify any bid considering there is no real proof of income. And no stats as of yet...even though you said your only real traffic was from spamming lol (myspace/stumbleupon).

But I will bid $40 (if proof of legit license can be shown and transferred)

Check the support forums. Ant Scilynt, are you illiterate? When did I say the traffic was from spamming? Putting a game on myspace will put a backlink to the arcade. FFS, people are getting dumber and dumber.

EDIT: Oh and Scribblez, that's why I SAID PROBABLE? Read pl0x?

How did you get your PR0 to PR5 claim? This is a big jump and rarely happens. Please explain.

Also you may want to put a seperate Adsense channel and hold off selling it for a week or 2. It will sell much better and you can avoid some of these "remarks".

Genuinely interested but cautious before plopping down $700 for a arcade site. My main concern is the traffic (which you provided), revenue (which you did not). So if you can please explain the PR situation, I would appreciate it.

    Thanks.

Talking crap isn't the best way to sell a site. I was referring to these two statements which many would consider spam regardless who did it:

"except ONE bulletin sent to 2000 people"

"Someone submitted my site to StumbleUpon - don't know who..."

Also, since you decided to lash out at me rather than answer any questions, I'll ask again...Can you show proof of a valid license for the script? The whole magic PR5 thing is also questionable. So yes, maybe your are correct...many dumb people around here.

I'm going to retract my bid from this, thanks.

Edit: you might want to also mention this in the sales thread:

"6 Licence MAY NOT Be Sold On unless Transfer fee is paid"

So one bulletin is SPAMMING? Wow. Just wow. Perhaps you should look at the stats before talking crap? 15 uniques from one bulletin, and the StumbleUpon thing wasn't me. Obviously someone likes the site.. And I'm paying for the transfer, so -$15.00 from sale price.

Proof of licence? Go to support forums and search for user megaforce - will show as "Licenced User".

And also, the PR5 thing is probably because backlinks accumulate as people put games on their profiles and sites. The site also has links on ProfileKing.org, FlashVault, and ToxicLabs.org.

And that's why I said "I can definitely tell you that many people here don't buy into assumptions". Read "pl0x"?

You could say you "probably" make $1,000 / day, but then again you don't have proof, it's an assumption, so why should anyone care?

I'd recommend setting up a channel temporarily to know for sure, instead of just throwing around figures.

    - yes, some people would consider a bulletin to 2k people spam
    - You didn't mention anything about the transfer fee before, nice to know you will cover it now
    - your stats page is broken...perhaps you should make sure your stuff works before making a sales thread.
    - You shouldn't make people work to see you have a legit license. Would be easy for you to add a link if you cared enough.
    - Would have been much nicer if you answered the questions without the insults before.

Regardless, good luck with your sale!

Forget it, no longer interested. You can't even answer questions regarding your own site.
