My name is Jared Gravatt. I operate a small business called Study 4 Success. This was started as a school project under the Young Enterprise Scheme.

We sell an audio CD of music to aid in study as well as a booklet of study related advice.

Because I am quite a novice when it comes to online marketing, design, SEO etc I was thinking of trying to find someone to handle all this for me. Because i have very little money up front I was looking to pay them on a commission basis.

I need your advice as to whether this is a good idea as well as who/where I should ask for these services.

    All answers are welcome

Unless you’re so desperate to get some help, you should just save money so that you can hire someone and pay his/her wage properly. This is because getting some help on commission basis is very difficult, especially when this commission is rather small. Also trading goods and services does not work well. It’s always best to have cash with you, pay someone and make him/her work for you.

Consider starting with somthing like a Yahoo Store, or selling on Amazon.

Then look at setting up an affiliate program that pays per-sale, not per-click.
