I just felt this poll shows a lot more truth than you'll see from the MSM. This is from a Conservative forum:

Free Republic Opinion Poll: According to a posted article entitled "McCain Starts Planning for 2008 Run" Senator John McCain is considered the front-runner for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination. Would you be for or against McCain?

    http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/poll?poll=165;results=2
    against.........90.1%..........6,653
    for...............9.9%............728
    ...................100.0%.........7,381
    ------------------------------------------
I don't think he has a chance. So where do you stand on McCain?

No chance in hell. Never been a big McCain fan. Would rather trade him off to the democrats in exchange for Lieberman.

The politician that has the best chance is the one that actually does something positive instead of just bitching and pointing fingers.

The minimum wage went into effect for all American soil (not just the states) except for the American Samoa. Starkist tuna is packaged there. Del Monte owns the company and their head quarters is in San Francisco. That happens to be Pelosi's district and the minimum wage hike was her big thing.

So much for change in Washington.

I really can't think of anyone that's particularly impressive. The only thing I really care about is how the government deals with terrorists and their supporters. Anyone who claims the problem lies with "American foreign policy" isn't getting my vote until we're the only country on the planet under attack by Muslim terrorists.

I'd also like someone to finally stop subsidising illegal immigrants with tax payer money.

    Other than that, don't care.

McCain is another one of those republicans where it depends on the day as to what he really is...I don't care for him since he seems to side more with hillary than with conservatives.
