    Are you joking?

You posted a link to another persons post on supposed WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION... Then I posted a link completely debunking the argument, and you claim to have "won"? If you did "win", it's only because some people are too proud or stupid to admit a loss...

what change of heart?! he was the one that wrote the first article of impeachment against clinton and he explains why ? he also feels very strongly that the adminstration have damaged the constitution and explains that is why he feels they should be impeached.
i have heared that chaney states that since they are not running for reelection he does not feel any constraints as to what they can do to the country. I don't think so! nobody elected them a king. impeachment is necessary to bring the balance back

It is extraordinary how many long term conservatives, long term republicans, accomplished and experienced people are moving in this direction of challenging and having significant and sincere doubts about the Bush administration let alone taking the more extreme and serious step of suggesting Impeachment.

It is no wonder the administration hides every and any bit of conversation and internal communications from outside view. They are freaking out and scaring every American who uses their brain...on all sides of the political spectrum.

It is certainly the most suspiceous and alarming administration since Nixon...and possibly more so.

i agree.this administration has demonstrated a tremendous amount disregard for the rule of law and the spirit of america
they also have shown a tremendous amount of incompetence in dealing with Iraq and the rest of ME
as a result the standing of US has been on the decline in the world opinion both interms of its moral authority and respect for our military power.

Bush/Cheney/Rove/Rumsfeld--w/Tom Delay in the House are/were this renegade group of radicals that implemented a monarchy like/dictator-like form of government on top of the Republican party--traditional conservatism and the US government.

Its scary in all its implications. Initially only anti Iraq war supporters had problems w/ this. The fear and unknowns of terrorists and a solid lock in step republican congress enabled this group of renegades to move forward umimpeded for about 6 years--until the Congressional elections of 2006.

Now all their actions are being questioned--and rightfully so.

it is most disturbing to me when chaney claims that since neither him or bush are running for the office they have no reason to consider us public opinion or congress. talking about dictatorial tendencies

Here is another example of two rock-ribbed Republicans having deep deep problems with the character and nature of the Bush administration, specifically its intent on ignoring Geneva Convention rules.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dy.../07/25/AR2007072501881.html?hpid=opinionsbox1

Both writers are distinguished, articulate, accomplished and knowledgeable about the subject. They fear the consequences of the Bush dictate from late August '07.

The renegade dictatorial group in the White House is even scaring accomplished Republicans. How scary.

I think that at least starting the process would show the rest of the world that that most Americans are not behind this administration. That in itself would be worth the effort in my opinion.

yes, you win, by changing the definition of WMD's to fit your agenda...your supposed "debunking post" only debunked itself...go back and read...

I know he wrote the impeachment about clinton. I want to know why he is calling for Bush's impeachment. Bush went through the first 4 years, got re-elected, and then all of a sudden this guy wants impeachment a year before Bush is out anyway?? WTF? Why not go after him during the first 4 years?

do you want to support the president or your country?

Actually your post was simply commentary and opinion. It didn't debunk anything. In fact, you agreed with me in saying:

I agree *some* were found, but to my knowledge they were all '91 or earlier...

You can find additional information here.

Actually it was. Regime change had been the position of both the Clinton and Bush administrations. The WMD argument was just one of several.

Any misleading that took place, did so long before Bush was in office. To assert that Bush lied, one cannot (at least in good faith), deny that the democrats spent most of the 90s calling for war with Iraq. Bush simply gave the democrats what they wanted.

This is incorrect as well. Numerous studies have shown that earnings are actually up. I was looking for a post from last year when this same discussion came up. I had some excellent references from very good sources (Financial Times, I believe) that covered this. Still, here are a few:

    http://www.redorbit.com/news/busine...te_down_workers_pay_up_in_february/index.html
    http://www.csmonitor.com/2006/0411/p01s02-usec.html

In reality, unemployment continues to hover at levels lower than the Clinton administration, which were hailed as huge successes, Americans are earning more, the Federal deficit has been substantially reduced three years running, tax collections are at all time highs, consumer confidence/spending is up. To contrast that, there is a serious problem with home mortgage defaults taking place. But then, nothing can always be perfect, I suppose.
