Hi, We have a myspace resource website. We have another website of love aricles. Everypage of our love articles site has about 25 links to the myspace resource website. Is that hurting us? Is it being treated as link spamming by search engine? Any help?
You'll have to wait and see, but my gut feeling is that it's basic link spamming. You don't need links on every page - one link, form the main page of the site will suffice.
They sandbox you or just toss all your pages in their supplemental index. Or they can remove you completely - or they may just overlook it entirely. You never know with them, LOL. Check out their Webmaster Quality Guidelines to get an idea of what you should and shouldn't do: http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769
Thanks. This guideline does not say anything about muy question. I read it carefully. What about forums? I participate in forums where my signature has my site links. I have more than 2000 posts in some good forums with PR6 and PR7?
I think you can have this. Coz not all the links are going to be displayed on the same page. But deliberately having 25 links on the same page. Thats link spamming.
Let me tell one thing- All the links go to different pages of my site. Does that make any difference?
See, I have this artcle website from where the links go. As we add an artcle, the side bar automatically displays the links to my myspace resource site. can we have a link on each page? or only on the home page of the article site?
You can have a link on each page of the site. As long as more links are not displayed on the same page. For eg, take a look at my site http://templora.com The links on the bottom of the website. They are displayed on all the pages. They don't do any harm.
I had also written that my links go to different pages of my myspace resources website. I saw your site. It looks good. If my links on a page are going to different pages of myspaceresources website, any harm? Let me again repeat because I may be confusing. I am giving links on my article website. The links go to myspace resource website. Thanks.
