Hi, My site was hosted in supremecenter and I am getting 300-400 unique visit per day from search engines(especially from google). Recently I moved my site to godaddy grid hosting, once I moved the traffic from search engine significantly reduced day by day and it reached 50 unique visit per day. It was shocking and I'm completely confused Then, I once again moved the site back to supremecenter and unique visit increased to normal(300-400 per day). This is first time I experienced this and never heard of such variation of traffic between the hosting server. Please anyone can tell me what was the reason behind this? and the connection between the hosting server and the search engine(especially google). Please advise me, which hosting server is highly search engine optimised.
The server itself has no different in SEO perspective. Only Geo-Location is in effect. I know Godaddy is located in US but not sure about Supremecenter. Which continent did you specific for Supremecenter, US or Europe? Most of web hosting switching within the same country / same area has nothing to do with ranking. Unless they both has located in different country / continent.
I think you may want to have a web hosting company with servers in the USA if you are looking to rank well in Google.com. I would consider McKremie Web Hosting as they are in the USA and have fast servers.
If host is slower, then ranking can drop. Also if host's IP range is used by many greyhat/seo spamming sites, ranking also can drop.
This is true on the host being slow. If your bounce rate has increased in percentage with your remaining visitors suspect it is likely speed issue.
