Connecting Dreamweaver to MySQL 5

    Apache 2.2+MySQL 5.0+PHP 5.1.6

    when I try to connect to MySQL with Dreamweaver 8, I get

    your php server doesn't have the MySQL module loaded or you can't use the mysql_(p)connect functions

    any idea on how to resolve ? I read too many related discussions allready but nothing good...

    Connecting Dreamweaver to MySQL 5 is sometime bad and bored job. I do that before. Now I used WAMP. 100% successful connection. This is my personal experience. I do it for my small project.
