Hi all, this is my first post here and I just wanted to hear what you have to say on something I'm working on.

I'm creating this posting and searching system for Enthusiast Internet Communities (Blogs, Forums, etc) that essentially tries to connect someone whose either asking a question or wants to learn about a niche topic to people really passionate about that topic. The "Average Joe" user would just type in his question or the name of a concept and pick a document/post detailing that concept/answer. He can ask questions directly in the document/post itself (i.e Highlight a line the individual doesn't understand and ask a question) and hopefully get the answer he wants from people who really enjoy talking about it with other people.

You're probably saying "That's what Google is for", and it's really not. Google is kind of a "anything goes" approach, where it'll go anywhere but there is no centralized community around it. You can't just go to any random forum, blog, or "how-to" site and say "I have no clue what that means" You gotta register first, go to your email and "confirm" that you're human, and go back to that page and ask your question. Then you have to hope someone get's back to you soon. That's assuming that person even bothered to register.

This isn't a replacement for existing communities, this tries to bring together people wanting to know something with people interested in telling them.

This sounds like I'm trying to sell you a product. I'm not trying to do that. I want to hear what you have to say about this.
