Use VGA to RGB converter, It will connect your Desktop,Laptop with VGA port to TV which have RGB IN connector.
You can also go for S-Video card

I did that one time, just plugged the RCA jacks (not coaxial)from my laptop into the back of my digital TV. If you don't have RCA jacks you'll need a RF modulator available from radio shack or office max.

    VGA to HDMI.

If your television does not have an HDMI port, then you can use composite or s-video connections.
