Congress Moving Towards Taxing Internet

State and local governments this week resumed a push to lobby Congress for far-reaching changes: gaining the ability to impose sales taxes on Net shopping, and being able to levy new monthly taxes on DSL and other connections. One senator is even predicting taxes on e-mail.
Call and email your Senator to tell them what you think about this, but be respectful.

as it is there are already charges on per transaction with payment gateways, more taxes would make it worst for online sellers

pfft tax on emails is ridiculous. I mean how do emails earn you for which you could pay a part to the government. Newbs!
