State and local governments this week resumed a push to lobby Congress for far-reaching changes: gaining the ability to impose sales taxes on Net shopping, and being able to levy new monthly taxes on DSL and other connections. One senator is even predicting taxes on e-mail. Call and email your Senator to tell them what you think about this, but be respectful. http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm
hahah taxing email? what a joke...how is that even possible? sales tax on consumer goods i think is inevitable...but in now way do I support it. I hate new taxes...how about we cut our spending instead
taxes on emails. Will never happen there will always be loop holes which we will exploit. Proxy will become a huge tool for the everyday user...
tax on internet shopping is coming for sure..in fact, they tried to enact it here in NC,but it fell through
as it is there are already charges on per transaction with payment gateways, more taxes would make it worst for online sellers
pfft tax on emails is ridiculous. I mean how do emails earn you for which you could pay a part to the government. Newbs!
