The Onion wrote a story about Congress holding a group of children hostage in exchange for $12 trillion dollars in cash. Obviously, it's The Onion, it's supposed to be a joke. The Capitol police objected to The Onion story, suggesting it might put the lives of members of Congress at stake. As if, some crazy might read that, and proceed to hunt Boehner down. Here's the story on The Onion. It ends with... What's your opinion?
Congress needs to get over it. You can already be arrested in an airport for telling an inappropriate joke, which is an abomination. No need to make that a part of mainstream American culture. Did you catch the SNL skit of the Republican debate. It was hilarious.
