When I sent an email to yahoo asking if they had sent me such an email, up to now I haven't heard back from them, why wouldn't they reply even to say "we did not send that email", I smell a rat!

they probably didn't read your email yet
report it to their phishing team. yahoo is pretty dumb, but they have more than $500

Yeah I got it to and when I clicked on the link to "Claim My Prize" it just went to a site where you can disguise your email address like they obviously had done, by pretending to be Yahoo.

I get all of the above plus about a dozen different emails with the same claim numbers for "gift cards" to walmart, target, home depot, etc. I was so irritated the other day by some spam that was identical and took up twenty entries, that I went on my reporting spree. Has anybody actually followed through and got one of these giftcards, ipods, laptops, or anything? I think its crazy :p
