Congrats to the old warhorses. But the teams after that victory have been so complacent that India has not won a world cup since 83. That's 25 long years mate. It's about time they stopped celebrating their old victories and start looking out for some new, unconquered territories.
Just go to past and remember the catch of Vivian richards that was taken by Kapil dev. lol. well it's day for celebration, forget future for now... ofcource from tomorrow onwards we should think about future. Hope T'kar will play with juniors in 2011 and make another history for next 25 years.
Yes definitely India will 2011 world cup also... Also Do n't forget Kapi Dev's Great innings of 175 against Zimbabwe in that world cup,that was one of the best innings as he came in when India were reelign at 17/5.... Unfortunately BBC was on strike that day so we have no visuals of that match except some photos...

Yeah that was terrific inning played by him. None other can do that... Well do you know he was the highest run scorer for India in the WC as well as leading wicket takers too. Though we can say every thing depends upon a team work. "one can not do every thing alone, but every one can do some thing together" That brings the success. always go ahead with the team work, If Ganguly did not take a second inning in Johns (RSA) than we had another WC in 2003.

WI won world cup twice so as the Aus. They have never celebrated 25 years , This is to fool Indian people by the MNCs. Any way Congrats India
You never have any rights or some thing bad to comment on any particular community, you are a member of DP, not a founder. Such foolish comments on targeted people or community may banned you in DP. How good the Indian people are, want to know? We have won 3 war against paki's, still we had not celebrated any of them, cz we have lost our great soldiers too, and we do respect the people of pak, and their feelings on the same. While from the country you are coming, i don't know which one but you must not have any manners to give respect to other people, community or country. I am damn sure you people always going to celebrate the victory which you had in war, but you forget that you have also lost some thing and the families of their soldiers which had died in war. Now, coming to the point. Well, if WI would have money, they had surely celebrated, In fact, India has money to celebrate and why don't we proud on our victory. India has the richest cricket board in compare to other cricket board all over the world.
Well no hard feeling any more it time to celebrate the most historic win, so congrats India and cheers and lets be part of these celebrations.
