Congrats to phpLYnx winner AllAboutHomes.ca

    Congrats go out to Vito for winning the phpLynx directory competition held by Directory-Owners.com, with his excellent allabouthomes.ca directory using the free version of the phpLynx script he's managed a nice PR6 and a design that is unique from most others I see.

    For his efforts he won a hefty $200 cash and a version of the full script worth $100, well done Vito you did good.

    Mention goes to Michelle from the Cantufind team who also won a second prize of $50 and a free copy of the full version for her entry PetSiteGuides.com another masterpiece that don't even look like the bog standard directories out there.

    Kudos to you both. :cool:

    This is what the future of directories is sure to be.

    They are WengChun, just imagine what they might achieve with the full version. I'm not one for PR I think its a gimmick but its a gimmick that can make you lots of money.

    What I like about the both is the fact they aren't like the zillions of general web directories out there fighting for crumbs, these two have gone out and made REAL niche directories and will probably make a fortune out them. :cool:

    The site / concept looks good it still has along way to go though. Needs way more articles and categories. Cool looking site though.

    Yep, I agree that it could do with a few things but it ain't for me to tell him. I think now that he's won a free version of the full script though that he's probably got major plans. Looking good for the Lynx script though. :cool:

    Yes, I agree that the site has a long way to go. I run a number of sites and I must always devote the lionshare of my time to my bread and butter sites. It's amazing how fast 24 hours go by - never enough time to address all sites.

    Hopefully I will carve out some time soon to get the site more populated. I'm looking forward to it, because I am receiving a decent amount of traffic even with the meagre amount of content, so when I get it well populated, I'm hopeful that the traffic will soar. :)
