I'd like to congratulate bigweblinks.com for achieving a PR7. We all know who owns it, right? Hmm...$49.90 for a permanent PR5 link. Not a bad deal. It's a unique directory. So if you contribute enough, you might just make it to the homepage, which is a PR7. From my understanding, you can add a listing and increase its ranking as and when you want. *A little shameless advertisement for a friend*
Just having a look at some of crazy goings on with the recent google PR update...... i know people must be getting bored with everyone harping on about PR, but i really like this directory and was considering submitting to it but after it was hailed as a great achievement to go from PR0 to PR7 in a few months .... google now seems to have punished it ......... its now rated as a PR 0 ? whilst new (2 month old) 1 page sites that have zero links no content and are generally shite have been awarded pagerank of 5 ! What is also alarming is that this sites traffic according to alexa has decreased dramatically - so maybe the google PR punishment is having a - traffic effect? If this is now the norm how the f*k are we supposed to promote new websites without actually getting punished Any thoughts DPers?
stupid...thats quite offensive the point was/is to find out as to what is going on with the current pr update (highlighting a 0 - 7 - 0 PR website is one way of doing this) edit: just noticed your links - you are in the directory game as well, not meant to be offensive just trying to gage what is going on
lol ... if i have a link in my signature which is a directory doesn't mean i own that site. And the assumption you made was wrong because the sig spot i sold.
hey man lets be friends, we are all in the same game here - just trying to suss out if my marketing money or other dpers is going to waste
no pain no gain. you win some, you loose some. some of us lost on bigweblinks, so what? keep advertising somewhere else... that's all
right. I am sure we all learned from what Google did to directories. There is always a new business opportunity
