confusion over stats

Having previously used Google Adsense, I was recently approached by a direct advertiser who is paying me because I get more than 400 visitors per day. So, I'm thinking of approaching advertisers. However, when I consult statistical coverage, I find that I'm getting about 200 unique visitors per day (about 6000 per month).

The visitors I've got are from free listings (i.e. SEO, not Google Ads).

If I wish to get rid of Adsense and take more direct advertisers, should I approach advertisers with the numbers I've got or should I use Google Ads to improve my traffic? (My site is normally close to the top of Google free listings.)

You can offer advertising space now. You can post it on forums classified ads or even
Ebay. If one is willing to pay you others should be also.

Continue to drive more traffic with your strategies and you will be able to
    collect higher fees.

    Hope this helps.

I would also put a small ad on your site saying that you offer advertising to relevant sites; if people visit your site and can see the value you offer then they are likely to respond to you personally. Check the adsense rules though because I am not sure how Google likes having your own ads on a site you are using for Adsense.
    Best wishes

Thanks folks, I've already changed my front page - www.careersteer.org - to look for relevant advertisers and I'll be looking at the adverts on DigitalPoint shortly. For those interested, it is a careers quiz (Americans usually call it) or careers test (UK), and is to help people to choose a career. Relevant advertisers would include employers and universities.
