i am planning to code a site with email support. i am confused as to which software i should use for coding it...help someone!!

ps-i am familiar with these languages
    java
    php
    asp.net
    coldfusion
    perl
    cgi
    python

i know for a fact that with coldfusion i will get the job done in less that half the time as compared to any other software but i need optimization...would it be a good choice?
    thanx in advance!

ColdFusion is simple to create awesome apps. But just about all of the scripting languages contain email connectors.

.NET, Java and (if i remember correctly) ColdFusion require some heavy server side frameworks/libraries.

PHP, Perl and Python are a lot more lightweight.

    CGI is not a language.

I would choose PHP or Perl. Nice and simple to code with, can be optimized (using the Zend Optimizer for PHP) and are widely supported.
