Confusion about my rss feed and using feedburner

I set up my rss a few days ago, and is now linked to feedburner. It works great, but i'm questioning why I should use it?

I originally did it to be able to use adsense, since the only way to do that is to go through feedburner. After having nearly 1000 views and 0 clicks, I have been reading that adsense for rss feeds pays didly squat, and you will be lucky to make $100 off of 100,000+ subscribers.

My question: My rss feed contains classified ads posted on my site, and i'm hoping for other websites pick it up for content. I'm about to submit my feed to 100's of rss directories (I've submitted it to only a few dozen right now), and I'm contemplating dropping feedburner and just using my own feed from my site.

    Should I?

I use feedburner because it contains different statistics about the feed, see some subscriber details and also you can select different options for publicizing your feed.

Also let's say that you have a link to your feed : example.com/feed.xml and someday you have to change it to example.com/rss.xml, but for those how are subscribed by a feedburner link the url will not change, as you can make all changes in your feedburner account. That has been a great option for me, and it could be for you to if you plan to submit the feed to several rss directories.

So, my suggestion you be to use feedburner rather than using the feed from your site.
