    Hi there,,,,,

I m little consfuse about using canonical tag. My site was having secure page and due to this most of my pages indexed in google with duplication. E.g. for Cardollarsforall.com these two pages are indexed in google, www(.)cardollarsforall(.)com/index.php, https[:]//www(.)cardollarsforall(.)com/index.php . Both are same, both are home page. When I asked to experts over here they are saying that these may create ranking problem for your site. I want to remove this duplication from Google database and want to have a solid solution for this. One suggested me using canonical tag for each page, means I need to include this : <link rel="canonical" href="http[:]//www·cardollarsforall(.)com/"> to let Google Bot intimate that crawl and index http[:]//www(.)cardollarsforall(.)com only.

Bot will crawl and cache http[:]//www(.)cardollarsforall(.)com BUT www(.)cardollarsforall(.)com is alredy cached in Google. Again same duplication will arise...Suggest any solution for this. I have choose to Display www(.)cardollarsforall(.)com as my prefered domain in Google Webmaster Tool. So is Google Bot again will crawl and index all the URLs with http:// if i will add this canonical tag?

    Thanks,
