I registered with google adword two months back and added few keywords but never activated the campaign. None of my ads where displayed in google so no visitor in my site (checked from google analytics) . But suddenly last week i got alert that google have take $$$ (large amount) from my CC. I have cancel my account with adword

Can any one suggest me what should do now. Is there anyway to find out what was the thing.

Which payment option did you choose when setting up the account?

IF they account was active, then maybe it got some clicks and they decided to charge you for them. I'd call them though and find out what's up.

You can ask for a refund. Same thing happend to me and was charged twice for the same amount. I never used the adwords. So I cancelled and went through the process. The credit to my CC was almost immediate if not within days. But I could be one of the fortunate ones as well. So good luck.
