confused with links I have

I ve recently been doing some promotion and have checked my popularity link and I got quite a few links in only a couple of days, but when I check the links they don't really go to my own promotion but to where I placed it originally, with consistancy will my website adventually show up?

Which tool have you used to check the links? I am pretty sure that there is no more accurate tool in giving accurate number of backlinks, however, you can feel the changes via traffic to your site. Do you see any changes in your traffic?

I used submitexpress link popularity check tool, I see a slight change to my
traffic

 

Try "siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/mysites"

 

If you are using link:domain.tld on google the results can keep changing. I will recommend that you use webmaster tools to see your external links.

 

To get actual and current updated back links list better use backlinkwatch or back link analyzer on seologs .com
