Confused: Sales.. but not commissions ??

i've really only been using CJ for a few weeks (i'm 98% adsense)..
I've made a few sales, and I'm happy with it so far - but one thing confuses me..
several times (like, today) my account shows sales (1 or 2), but no comission.. even after a few days, still no comission..

what does this mean (besides no $ for me).. and why does it happen?

May be they are verifing the sale or merchant is on batch processing

I'm new to CJ too. I have provided two separate links to friends to make eBay purchases and both sales were successful (totalling about $350). My CJ account shows a balance of $0.00. It makes me wonder if the links I created were correct. I've noticed that CJ's and eBay's sites provide no information for assuring that your links are legitimate.

again today i've got sales, and no more comissions.. i've finally learned how to run reports, and it looks like the sales are all from the same merchant (MobleLifeStyles)...
If I somehow screwd up the link would this happen? the link is good enough for a sale, but not good enough for a comission?

C'mon CJ experts.. any ideas ??

If it reports a sale, its a sale unless they reverse it.

CJ has changed alot of stuff lately and havent really looked around much since.

But to answer your own question,
    log in to CJ
    click Run reports
    click performace reports
now select this month from the drop down on the right.

The next screen should show you your sales for the month by website. Now check the sale amounts next to the commissions... it should be a dollar amount.

If it is... then ya you have real sales, some people click through and buy but CC may fail, or they cancel, etc. Also the advertiser may only total up the sales every month or every 3.

If you see sales $ amount in the screen, click detail for that website.
That should show you the number of sales on the site by day.

I would contact the merchant and ask if they only calculate earnings every few months. They can also let you know if your links are 100% correct.

On the CJ home page in the lower right hit Review new transactions. Or click on the top run reports then click on Transaction Reports if its not there it might take some time. I get the report sometimes a week later after the items were shipped. Good Luck

I think the mystery is solved.
Today i noticed a link on my homepage that says "review x clicks from invalid links" .. when I checked, it showed that the status for MobileLifeStyles was "declined application".. so it looks like they cut me off? Why would they do that?

oh well, lots of other advertisers out there!

Well, it was only a few sales, but yeah.

I think changing anchor text is not uncommon thing. Yes many merchant object this and many mention this thing in their terms. Probably you must have written some thing which was not acceptable to them.

It is always better to ask merchant, before changing the creatives.

If that's the case, it's wierd becuase I got no notification or anything..
