    Ok ,
I am working with a cleaning company mightycleanhome.com . I have been trying to get them ranked ontop of search term "house cleaning atlanta" for like a year now. they are number 4 right now , but I do not understand why the top two are in the position they are.

The first greencleanhome.com/ has a pr of 2 but thats about it, very little backlinks or quality . I think they are on yahoo directory and thats it. Page is not well optimized etc etc.

the number 2 position is held by emjcleaning.com they are the same thing little optimization and few backlinks and all things that are said to give you high serps.

number 3 is mollymaid.com now I understand why they would rank high for house cleaning by why house cleaning atlanta their landing page or keywords or titles does not mention atlanta at all. I would imagine if just popularity and age they would rank in top 5 in all towns cities and states if that were the case. But , I do not see it . No mention of Atlanta yet they rank on 3rd spot.

Only thing I see any of these sites having is age. mollymaid.com is 15 years old and well linked everywhere but again no mention of atlanta. the others have Atlanta as a keyword yet are about 8 to 7 years old . But few backlinks and optimization .

What gives ? Anyone know how I can improve mightycleanhome.com to finally beat them or is the age the problem and I never will ?

    thanks everyone for any help

Ya you know your competitor first three. check there index page in google search like this link:type your competitor link. see from where they are getting links, try to get link from those site. Google will show less link so i suggest you to do this on yahoo site explorer.
