confused in choosing SMF & phpbb!!

    I'm starting a new forum but i'm confused ...which one should i choose SMF of PhPBB ..actually i want to use a free templates...please suggest me...

    Both are good but i will suggest you for smf as it is more secure and easy to update

    PHPBB v3 is much better I suppose - secure and good new look.

    I would suggest using the most recent version of phpBB 2, don't use phpBB 3 untill its out of beta mode, and its properly released.
