    I am a new here.I m confused about backlinks.I want to know

    Is making comment to other blogs help to buid back links ? If yes,Then

    Is commenting to to any blogs help me to get backlinks.Or i should only comment only on do follow blogs to get backlinks for my site.

    Help please.Waiting for reply

    Dofollow blogs only and blog comments shouldn't be your primary link source, add a few real quality links first, then slowly start adding the lower quality ones like comments, directories, social bookmarking.

    Thanx but I just want to know whether the comments also play a role in link building. Are the links we add while commenting are treated as backlinks.

    Yep, as long as a link is dofollow, it counts as a backlink and what's certainly true: A low value link is always better than no link ;)

    Yeah, i agree with scripter, in my opinion, besides get more backlink by making comments on dofollow blogs, you can get traffic from the nofollow backlink from the comments if you like!

    Only get links from dofollow blogs - nofollow does not help.

    No follow links will help to build more traffic it's a anti spam method.It won't help for page rank.But dofollow links will help to improve the page rank.Even dofollow forums can give backlink to your site.

    What is wrong in this thread?

    Does nofollow link have any value?

    I suggest you to read more on google.com/webmaster about dofollow. Dofollow only recognized by google spiders and gives the link credit in google' s eye. Not in Yahoo, MSN, or any other search engine in this world. Nofollow is still count as backlink in other search engine than google. Only google differentiate dofollow and nofollow stuff.

    Of course, if you concentrate on google traffic, then you should concentrate on dofollow backlinks. But, we cannot say entirely that nofollow links are not considered as backlinks.
