confused? anyone else?

    Been working on a site for about 12 months and have got it to the top of page3 / bottom of page 2 for its main keyword.

    last nite it jumped onto page 1 (position4) and i was soooo happy
    This morning it was the same :)

    this afternoon it has returned back to the top of page 3?


    any ideas what this meanS?

    Have you checked your serp position accross all of the google datacenters? I think You'll find that the fluctuations are between the different data centers. Hopefully, your changes will eventually propagate to all servers, and you'll see more consistant results.

    Don't do anything on the homepage now unless there are anything to improve.. Like, if the titles are OK, if the H1s are OK.. then leave it, and work on getting a few quality incontent Links with that anchor...

    You are working on your site for more than 12 monts.. be patient for some more time.. as it appears once on first page just wait for some time and hope it will be there on first page on your next google search and stay for a long time.. As it appeared there i think it will be there soon..

    I have been many posts where people are seeing wild changes in search results so you are not alone with this problem. Wait for some time and see if you get a stable position at the 4th place :)

    if it helps my good page 1 results came back , see how long they last ...
    they were on datacenter 66.102.9.104
