Confused about what's acceptable

I have a website which offers free sports picks.

When I search www.google.com for "Free sports picks" or "free nfl picks" I see sponsored ads.

Yet I cannot for the life of me figure how how these ads can appear, yet my site (which never mentions gambling) continually does not get accepted based on it's content.

    Can anyone offer any ideas?

    Thanks!

Are these ads going to sites that offer the same service you are, or are they simply trying to grab that type of traffic?

Did you go see where the sponsored ads led?

Not everyone on Adwords is optimiznig for high QS. Some will pay outrageous min CPC just to get traffic. I have seen ads that weren't even close to being related to the keyword they were displayed on. Never understood it myself.

If that's not the case I'd ask Google what's up. Might get the run-around, but never hurts to ask what the reason is behind their decisions sometimes.
