Confused about sole trader license requirements

    Hello, I have some questions about Seller Central that I need answering. Amazon themselves seem impossible to get any answers out of for some reason.

    I want to start selling but need the following info first...

    Here are my current details:
    I have a residency in Ireland but have a UK passport. I have an Irish PPS number and address in Ireland too. I want to use the FBA service on Amazon Seller Central.

    My Questions are:
    Do I need to obtain a Sole Trader License in order to sell from Europe?

    And if so, then can I obtain this license through the Irish authorities, or should it be through the UK authorities?

    And do I need to register anything else with the UK authorities at all?

    Also, if I were to only sell to North America customers then would I still have to register anything with UK or Ireland authorities first?
