Hi, Does anyone know who are they smarterDOTcom? The reason i'm asked is because: -Every time there's a referred from them (smarterDOTcom) then there is an increased of click count in my adwords targeted keyword. According to my host stats, no referres for days from Google excepted from them (smarterDOTcom), and yet clicks still counted dramatically in adwords. Thanks in advance,
Why not just write "smarter.com". Smarter.com is a comparison shopping site owned by ValueClick/MeziMedia, that also drives a lot of traffic through PPC arbitrage seems like a lot could be coming from MSN now. Besides the comparison price search, they have ads above that. They could either be featuring a certain product on their homepage that triggers your keyword in the search, or using arbitrage on a related keyword.
Thanks Johu, I just want to make sure there are no live links, that's all. Back to the subject.. Still can't figure it out how to opt-out in adwords setting from this useless, wasted money smarter or whatever shopping comparison site. They're killing me. May be it's better off to uncheck the option 'search network - google search partners' in adwords campaign setting?
Yup, that'd be search network. I wouldn't think that the results would be lesser quality - However, you can tell what keyword is showing it (based on the referrer), so it just might not be the right keyword.
Thanks again Johu, I have just turned OFF the search network option. Yes, the traffic quality is beyond worst and keep on increasing to the alarming level. Their search partners send all single (1) keyword if it matched any of my set of keywords (at least 2), which doesn't go with the adwords broad match rules.
