Confused about SEO

Could anyone offer me some advice? I don't have much knowledge regarding SEO's.

I have a website that was designed in php 6 months ago by my son (that doesn't mean a lot to me incidentaly that is the php not the son) Several people said that I would have no chance of being found on Google because Google doesn't like php. I am now confused because to my delight, pages from my site are being found and I have started to get enquiries. The address is www.heretolisten.co.uk

I have another site that has been designed in html and I cannot see any results for this one yet although this was only submitted 3 months ago.

Can anyone tell me the best way to go with other sites I have in mind

Google likes PHP - they have their own Google Store (UK) on a PHP software package. Whoever told you that is talking BS.

We can only give you a proper review of your site once you qualify for it (posting requirements, see FAQ) but I can tell you that the way it was coded is indeed potentially causing you problems.

When you do post a proper website SEO review in the Reviews forum, do ask about Session IDs.

Not sure what your question is :) but I can tell you that search engines don't care which server side technology your site uses (php, asp.net etc). It is the rendered html that gets processed by the search engine so the fact that it's produced by php doesn't matter.

If I were you, I would go for PHP because PHP offers many functionalities and options that are not available in HTML or XHTML. The ideal would be to combine PHP with XHTML/CSS coding. Your "Here To Listen" site is very impressive, I like the way it looks and structured.
