I have a static home page in my blog. Per instructions that I followed, they had me set up a new page -- said to call it home or whatever I wanted and then select it to show as the home page. I chose Ovarian Cysts Treatments Home. My question is this. When my site shows up in the search results, is that how it will show up? If so, is there some setting I can make so that what reflects in search results is something other than just that page title? I'm using SEO All-In-One and I did put a better title in those settings. Not sure exactly what will be reflected in the search result display. My concern is "Ovarian Cysts Treatments Home" is not a very compelling heading to entice someone to click, but if I change my page title to something different, it shows up in the navigation bar like that and looks really stupid. Getting a little confused and any suggestions would be most helpful.
Is your home site called that or is that your domain name. because you can use what you want and just set it as the subtitle just go to your dashboard and find general settings and change your title to be your tag line if you play with this and use the "view page" to show what your site will show. I hope this helps.
It is a straight forward change in General settings and it is set up so you can change it back and forth until you like it. But it is up to you.
