Dear All, I m an author at www.marketing91.com The thing is, i have 100's of articles i can write today itself. But should i write all them and upload them now itself or go on writing 1-2 article a day and cover it for 2-3 years. several ppl say put out ur content right now. but i have seen that websites get better as they get older. so shudnt i hold back content and write 2-3 articles for at least 2-3 years
I'd say write content regularly because that means your site is being updated regularly and both people and search engines love fresh, new content. If you dump them altogether now and leave your site with that, isn't really a good idea. Although, you can do that, but still I suggest you update your site with new content regularly.
hey. even i was thinking that itself. Just wanted feedback. But the thing is earnings are really low. Hope by daily updating content, i will have good earnings sometime down the line
You have to make so many posts before you can post a link until then it is just text and you have wasted your time.
I would try to post five or less articles a day; this is my rule for posting articles on eZine Articles and similar sites. Also, if you can vary the links a.k.a. resource boxes if you have multiple websites to promote. Good luck! Peace, love, happiness, and prosperity, Stephanie
Yes, add to your site daily, it's good for indicating to Google that your site will be active and will be crawled by their "spiders."
Find a writing schedule that you can stick to. For some people, that's one post every ten days. For others, it's three posts a week.
With the vast majority of IM-related tasks, consistency is the key to achieve a modicum of success. This will range from article writing, adding content, link building, blog commenting, video & audio production, etc. Let's use Search Engine (SE) traffic as an example:- I'm no expert as to how Google's, or indeed any other search engines', algorithms work, but from my own experience it appears freshly updated sites, blogs, pages, etc are viewed far more favourably. So however you choose to approach this - just be consistent. Whether this means adding one article a day, 3 a day, 5 a day, 10 a day, 100 a day, 1000 a day... My way of viewing it is, eventually a search engine will realise that here is a blog or website that is regularly updated and over time that same search engine will reward the said website or blog. This will typically come in the shape of higher rankings, and therefore more SEO related traffic. In my opinion, the search engines are not so "friendly" towards web pages/sites that produce, what I like to call, one hit wonders. So using your example, you add let's say 200 articles to a website today - the SE's initial reaction may well be "Wow", but interest will soon dwindle because you have added perceived value once...and once alone. Obviously, there are plenty of other ways of producing traffic, but I often view SE traffic as a popularity contenst. If we put the above examples into a completely different context - Who would be more popular in your eyes? Someone who gives you 100 great presents today, and then you never, ever hear from them again OR someone who gives you 2-3 great presents today, tomorrow, the day after...forever! OK, perhaps a stupid example, but the point I'm trying to make is that consistency will produce (and provide) more value in the long run. Take a look at any authority site in any niche - They will all have 1000s upon 1000s of articles, but they will consistently be adding new content day in, day out, thus adding more value day in, day out! Cheers James
Dear All. I am amazed at the number of knowledgeable responses i have got. Thankss a lot. Now i m sure i will go with 2-3 good articles a day and improve my quality of articles rather than going for 10-12 average articles a day. thankss a lot
Another thought is that if you have the time to write now and don't know if you will in the future...set up a blog, enter all of the articles now and date them so that they go live a few at a time in the future. I know WordPress will allow stacking posts that way, not sure if they CMS programs do too.
well. i dont know whether i m write or wrong. But i think even scheduled posts are indexed by google. So if u have updated the blog with a scheduled post. It may not be counted as a new content. any ideas on that?
Distinguish whom you are writing to- humans or Google bot. For humans it's a good practice to post once a week, For the Bot you can post spun content(The Best Spinner) almost every day to your secret page. Need more info? email to: pay@2know-how.com
Updated posting of content is considerable in SEO purposes, I was amazed with the numbers of your article posted every other day.
