hello forum. im a little confused with CJ text links.

i've signed up for snap fish and the text link they've given me is

    <a href="http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX" target="_blank" onmouseover="window.status='http://www.snapfish.co.uk';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;">Get 40 free prints of your digital photos</a><img src="http://www.lduhtrp.net/image-"XXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX" width="1" height="1" border="0"/>
    Code (markup):
where XXXXXX-XXXXXXXX is replaced with my unique affiliate code i assume (taken out because i dont think affiliate links are aloud on this forum)

    a few things:
    1) what is the 1x1 pixel which follows and why is it there?
    2) if i just use the a href= http://www . jdoqocy. com /click-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX target="_blank" part and perhaps wrap it around a botton or image etc will i still earn my commission?

    thanks guys
    James

The pixel is just for stats to count impressions. You will still earn commission with a plain link which would exclude the tracking pixel.

I think so. The pixel is like a kind of thing which is used to count impressions.
