confused about back links

    Somone told me that if a site with a pr rating less than your site links back to you it pulls down your ranking? Is this true or another myth?

    No it's completely false. All the links to your site are good and if you don't overdo it or link to "bad neighbourhoods" then links from your site to other wont hurt you either
