Lets say my main site is optimized for Dog Food and Doggie Chow. I have many anchor text links for "doggie food' "doggie chow" aimed at my site. I then also have a subpage that is optimized for "doggie chow" specifically. Neither of these pages is ranking in top 10 and one of them should be. Are they canceling each other out??
