conflict between analytics and keywords tool

    Google keywords tools say 590 monthly searches for a keyword
    I am on 1st position for that keyword
    Google analytics say 1,799 visits with this keyword
    which tool is wrong? or why is it so?

    It depends on the trend, your keyword could increase the popularity over the past month...

    hmm..that means keywords tools does not have up to date numbers.

    Telmakete might have a point. Or maybe it has something to do with new visits and recurring visits. Don't know which of this type do Google Keyword and Google Analytics consider.
