Hey guys, I've waiting since Aug. 28 and still have not received the confirmation by location letter in the mail with the 6-digit code. It should have arrived on the 10th of Sept. Even after contacting PayPal, they said that they will forward my message to the appeals department or something like that. Any suggestions?
This is indeed something new, I thought that they require verification via credit card by requiring you to check your credit card statement for the expander use number, ie the 4 digit numbers. Did Paypal now opted for a new method if verification via address ? If so, make sure that your mailing address is correct to the letter.
No, you misunderstood me. My account is currently limited, and one of the multiple steps needed to resolve the situation is to confirm my address. They said that they will mail me a letter with a 6-digit confirmation code, but the letter still didn't arrive.
I checked your original post and did not see anything mentioned about your account being limited. I am tired and probably missed that. I am sorry about that. I know that usually when they require address confirmation, they will just have you fax or upload a copy of your utility bill or a photo ID with your address. In this case, I suggest you deal with Paypal directly. There is really nothing anyone of us can do for you or provide you with any useful information.
Why don't you send them any utility bill or something like that for address verification through fax or upload documents features for quicker resolution DON.
When i waited for Address verification for paypal, the email said 15 Business days, i waited a whole month!
